Mälzer Dental was founded by Lothar Mälzer in 1982.
A speciality supplier focusing on articulators, systems for achieving
commonality, and model production, the company soon became a leading,
renowned provider in its specialist field within the dental trade.

The development and distribution of the Adesso Split system saw the company
joining the ranks of the industry´s top players.

In the early 1990s the company moved into its new. larger headquarters in Steinhude, Lower
Saxony. Then, in 1995, Mälzer Dental secured the services of Carsten Althaus as a field
representative, who as early as 1998 took up the post of managing director. Thanks to his many
years of experience as an industrial engineer, the company succeeded in optimizing many of its
products and tailoring them to the changing demands of the dental industry.
